New recovery and rebuilding project consultant
The OSPN team is excited to welcome Claude Jobin as the consultant who will lead our Recovery and Rebuilding Project, which will help OSPN become even more inclusive, relevant and responsive for our senior community’s needs and interests. Claude will reach out to the community at large, reconnect with old partners, and make new connections. He will gather information that will help inform improvements of our programming and the development of new programs and services, in order to redeploy an updated and improved OSPN for the post-COVID era senior 2SLGBTQ+ Ottawa and surrounding area community.
Claude is known in the community as being one of the instigators of the Pizza Night at Colonnade Pizza, as well as being instrumental in the establishment of the 2SLGBTQ+ Wellbeing Check-in Program at The Good Companion Centre. Claude has had a long career in fields relevant to this project, such as Human Resources, Project Management, and Communication. Since 2000, he has enjoyed being a local realtor and as he lightly admits: « It is hard to retire a realtor. » We are thankful that Claude is willing to divert his interest in real estate for our project, and his enthusiasm is appreciable.
